The regular meeting of the IGA was held on Thursday, November 13, at the Country Club.

Winter hours for the Country Club have been announced by Club management. During the months of January, February, and March the club will only be open on Friday, Saturday and Monday. Hours of operation will be announced. The status of the operation hours for April is pending.

IGA members are advised the paving of the main road will take place on the following dates: Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday, November 17-18-19. The road will be closed for this project.

The golf course will remain open as weather conditions permit.

The Executive Committee voted to permit Dallas, Wyoming Valley West, and Misericordia University golf teams to use the golf course as their home course for the 2009 golf season. The fee for the use of the course was set at $2300.00, and use is conditional upon each school’s unconditional acceptance of the rules policy.

Approved the expenditure of $4000.00 from the Golf Course Improvement Fund for protective netting at the driving range.

Approved the expenditure of $3000.00 from the Golf Course Improvement Fund for winterization of the roof over the pro shop.

The Executive Committee gave its unanimous support to Masonic Village’s request for a $200.00 assessment/credit to be used in the new clubhouse dining facility.

Approved the dues schedule for the 2009 season.

Approved a payment plan for dues payment for the 2009 season. Payment plan details will be mailed to all IGA members with their 2009 dues statement.

Approved an increase in cart and green fees for the 2009 season. The increase in cart fees will be placed in a special account to be used solely for the purpose of building a reserve for use cart replacement when the current lease expires.
