The annual Fall meeting of the Irem Golf Association was held on October 15, 2008 at the Country Club. President Bob Roberts presided at the meeting.

By-Laws
The membership approved the proposed changes to the IGA By-Laws concerning the Leave Policy.
Information Items
The driving range is now closed for the season to allow for flushing of the irrigation lines and routine maintenance.
Discussion with club officials will begin next week to determine the dues structure for the 2009 season.
Representatives from Masonic Villages have requested the IGA consider continuation of the $200.00 Grill Room fee for the 2009 season. Masonic will be addressing the Uniform Units with the same request.
The Executive Committee will be looking into the manner in which the outside tournament schedule is determined. Concerns were voiced over the number of tournaments being scheduled for Fridays.
The Committee will revisit the use of the golf course by local high school teams.
The next regular meeting of the IGA Executive Committee will be held on Thursday, November 13 at 6:30 PM. IGA members are welcome to attend.
